Wetteri Oyj

The approach of Active Owners

Active Owners Aarne Simula and Markku Kankaala together acquired all the shares of Wetteri Oyj in spring 2022. Right after the acquisition, a group of other Active Owners, led by Martti Haapala, invested in Wetteri. The common goal was to take Wetteri to the main list of Helsinki Stock Exchange as the first company in Finland in the car trade with a multi-brand representation.

Wetteri Oyj is the biggest car dealership in Northern Finland with a turnover of over €340M.
